One of the slightly annoying things about Visual Studio 2010 (and 2008) is that it doesn’t have built-in IntelliSense support for HTML 5. This seems to be more of a problem for ASP.NET MVC developers than ASP.NET Web Form developer because they’re more likely to try writing an application that uses HTML 5. Luckily Microsoft has an HTML 5 Visual Studio download in the visual studio gallery. Once installed you can select HTML 5 as target schema for validation in Visual Studio.
