The Document Management system project in PHP is a web application that can be developed using PHP/MySQLi.
The Document Management system project in PHP free download is the main purpose to store and manage the file documents of a certain company or organization.
This project store the documents in the database as BLOB type. the system also stores other file information such as the file type and file size.
The document files that been stored in the database will be shown in the File List Tab of the system.

This project Each file shown in the list has two actions that can be done by the user which are then deleted and download.
The Document Management system project in PHP has Two types of users which are the Administrator and the Normal user.
The Admin users are only the ones who can register a new system user whether it is an Admin.

The Document Management system project was developed using PHP/MySQLi, MySQL Database, HTML, CSS, and Javascript (Ajax and jQuery).

How to Run Document Management system project

  • STEP #1: Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the "Apache" and "MySQL".
  • STEP #2: Extract the downloaded source code file.
  • STEP #3: If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
  • STEP#4: Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
  • STEP #5: Create a new database naming "doc_db".
  • STEP #6: Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as "doc_db.sql" located inside the extracted source code folder.
  • STEP #7: Browse the Simple Document Management System in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/doc_system/docsytems
