          SAP ECC 6.0 Installation Step by Step

          

Here i have given SAP ECC 6.0(IDES) installation steps with screen shots in Windows 2003 server environment.
Make sure the following steps are completed before starting your SAP installation

  • Operating system installation and partitioning as per SAP standards
  • Install JDK 1.4 minimum or above
  • Set environment variables for JAVA_HOME
  • Install database as per your requirement( i installed Oracle here)
  • Copy all the SAP DVD's to local disk

 Install













Stop All oracle instances as shown above by right clicking and selecting stop against each started service.

 With this Oracle Database installation is complete.

Reboot the system.

D:\ECC5MasDVD\IM1\NT\I386\NTPATCH\








 Install Java by clicking on j2sdk-1_4_2_06-windows-i586-p.exe

Add environment variable

D:\ECC5MasDVD\IM1\SAPINST\NT\I386\sapinst.exe

JAVA_HOME



























 Again Statrt Sapinst.exe







































 This will create a Logon Icon on your desk top.

Double Clicking on the Icon

Give details as given in installation.

Application host is the Local Instance host given at the time of installing Window 2003.

Give System ID: in this Case DEV

System number 00

Save


 The following entry is created in logon pad.



Double click on the entry to get the log on screen.

Give Client 000.

User name: DDIC

Password: Which you have given at the time of installing the Database instance.


GIVE ABOVE VALUES AND PRESS ENTER



Now enter transaction Code : STMS and press enter
Press Ctrl+S  to save

Now  enter Tcode  : /NSU01

Username = sapuser
Click   ‘F8’
Give first name and last name
Click on Logon Data TAB à Give password
Click  on Profiles  TAB Giveà    SAP_NEW
                                                         SAP_ALL
And click save(ctrl+s)

Now enter Transaction code /nex

Click on logon button again


                        Now give
                        Client : 800
                        Uname : DDIC
                        Pass : 19920706
Now  enter Tcode  : SU01

Username = sapuser
Click   ‘F8’
Give first name and last name
Click on Logon Data à Give password
Click  on Profiles Give        SAP_NEW
                                                SAP_ALL
And click save(ctrl+s)

Now enter Transaction code /nex
AGAIN CLICK LOGON BUTTON

Client :000
Uname   SAPUSER
Pass    :

Now enter Transaction code se38

Give name   = zxyz and click on create button

Now it will ask for access key  :36687663221261278694

Enter above key and complete that process



Now enter Transaction code /nex

Again click on logon button

Now give Client  800
            Uname   sapuser
            Pass   :
